This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how and why Thermaco, Inc., and its affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, and related companies (“Thermaco”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collect, store, use, disclose, share, or otherwise process your personal information. This includes information you provide us through interactions with our websites (including www.thermaco.com and www.big-dipper.com) (the “Site(s)”), applications (the “Applications” or “Apps”), or through other interactions with us (collectively, the “Services”). Except as noted, this Policy is not applicable to information gathered or provided to us pursuant to other specific agreements.

In order to maximize your experience and provide our Services, we may process personal information from the categories listed below. Our listing of these categories does not mean that all categories or the examples listed in each category are collected from everyone who uses our Services or otherwise interacts with us. Directly from you

Indirectly from you

From third parties

We may create anonymous data records from personal information by excluding information (such as your name) that makes the data personally identifiable to you. We use this anonymous data to perform statistical analyses of users’ aggregate behavior so that we may enhance the content of our Services and improve Site navigation. Additional Privacy Information for Certain Jurisdictions

Residents of certain jurisdictions may have the right to receive disclosures regarding a business’ processing of “personal data”, as defined under data privacy laws applicable to them in their jurisdiction (“Applicable Privacy Laws”). Residents of these jurisdictions may also have unique rights with respect to our processing of such personal data.

Consumer Rights
Under Applicable Privacy Law, you may have the following rights:

  • Right to Access: You may have the right to confirm whether or not we are processing your personal data and to access such personal data. 
  • Right of Portability: You may have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data that you previously provided to us in a format of our choosing as long as it is accessible and machine readable. 
  • Right to Delete: You may have the right to ask us to delete certain personal data we have collected about you. 
  • Right to Correction: You may have the right to ask us to correct inaccuracies in the personal data we have collected. 
  • Right to Opt-out of Targeted Advertising: You may have the right to opt out of the processing of your personal data if it is used for targeted advertising. Applicable Privacy Laws may provide the right to opt out of the processing of personal data for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

Verification Process
We may request that you provide additional information reasonably necessary to verify you and your consumer’s request. If you submit the request through an authorized agent, we may need to collect additional information to verify your identify before processing your request. If you are using an authorized agent to exercise your rights, we may deny a request if the authorized agent does not submit proof that they have been validly authorized to act on your behalf.

Response Timing
Upon receiving your request, we will attempt to respond within 45 days. The response period may be extended when reasonably necessary. We will inform you of any such extension within 45 days of receiving your request, together with the reason for the extension.

Right to Appeal
If we decline to take action regarding your request, we will inform you of our decision and reasoning behind it. If you wish to appeal our decision, please e-mail us at info@thermaco.com. Within 60 days of receipt of an appeal, we will inform you in writing of any action taken or not taken in response to the appeal, including a written explanation of the reason(s) for the decision.

Non-US Residents

If you are located outside of the United States, please note that the information you provide to us will be transferred to the United States. By using the Services, you consent to this transfer and the processing of your data (personal or otherwise) in accordance with this Privacy Policy, to the fullest extent allowed under the law. You also consent to the adjudication of any disputes arising in connection with this website in the federal and state courts of, and in accordance with the laws of, the State of North Carolina. The applicable laws in the United States regarding the processing of data (personal or otherwise) may be less stringent than the laws in your country.

We make no claim that the Services are appropriate for all jurisdictions. Access to the Services may not be legal by certain persons or in certain jurisdictions. You are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.

Children’s Information

Our Services are not directed towards children, minors or anyone under the age of 18. Please do not send us any information about anyone under the age of 18, like names, addresses or email addresses. In general, we do not knowingly collect personal information from those under 18.

In the event that we learn that we have collected any personal information from a child under the age of 18, we will delete that information from our databases as quickly as possible.
